ARAMHub is a brand, platform, and business initiative operated by ARAMHUB LLC (“ARAMHub,” the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Virginia limited liability company and a separate legal entity that is wholly owned by ARAMWAY GROUP LLC (the “Parent”). Every agreement, payment, transaction, service, membership, program, event, communication, and legal obligation described in this document is between you and ARAMHUB LLC. ARAMWAY GROUP LLC is not a party to this agreement and assumes no obligations to you under it; however, the protections, disclaimers, limitations of liability, releases, and indemnities in this document extend to ARAMHUB LLC, ARAMWAY GROUP LLC, and their respective affiliates.
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how ARAMHUB LLC collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data in connection with the Site and Services. It is designed to align with the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA, Va. Code § 59.1-575 et seq.), FTC guidance on privacy and data security, the CAN-SPAM Act, COPPA, and other applicable U.S. privacy laws, and it describes rights available to residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws.
Personal Data We Collect
2.1 Data You Provide
- Account and profile data: name, email, phone, password, title, company, industry, background, photo, and bio;
- Applications and submissions: startup applications, accelerator applications, business ideas, proposals, competition entries, and uploaded documents;
- Purchase data: memberships, event registrations, program enrollments, consultations, and digital or physical product orders; billing name and address (full card numbers are handled by our payment processors, not stored by us);
- Communications: messages, chat, community posts, reviews, survey responses, and support inquiries;
- Event data: registration details, check-ins, and accessibility or dietary needs you choose to share; and
- AI tool inputs: prompts, documents, and other content you submit to AI-powered features, handled as described in the AI Usage Policy.
2.2 Data Collected Automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and OS, device identifiers, pages viewed, clicks, referring URLs, and timestamps;
- Cookies and similar technologies, per the Cookie Policy; and
- Approximate location inferred from IP address.
2.3 Data from Third Parties
We may receive data from event co-hosts, universities, sponsors, partners, single sign-on providers (e.g., Google or LinkedIn), payment processors (transaction status), referral sources, and public and commercial databases, and combine it with data collected directly.
How We Use Personal Data
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Site and Services, including accounts, programs, events, communities, networking, and AI features;
- Process applications, registrations, orders, payments, and refunds;
- Facilitate networking, matching, and introductions where you use those features;
- Send transactional communications (receipts, renewal reminders, program logistics);
- Send marketing communications with opt-out honored promptly, per CAN-SPAM;
- Personalize content, perform analytics, and conduct research and product development;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect rights and safety.
Consistent with VCDPA data-minimization principles, we do not process personal data for purposes that are neither reasonably necessary for, nor compatible with, the disclosed purposes without your consent.
How We Disclose Personal Data
- Corporate affiliates: our parent company, ARAMWAY GROUP LLC, and other affiliated entities under common ownership, for purposes consistent with this Policy, including corporate administration, auditing, and security;
- Service providers/processors: hosting, payments, email delivery, analytics, AI infrastructure, support, and event tools, under contracts restricting their use of the data;
- Program, event, and university partners: where needed to deliver an offering you registered for, identified at registration where practicable;
- Other users: information you choose to make public or share through networking and community features;
- Legal, safety, and compliance: pursuant to law, legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety;
- Corporate transactions: merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, with customary safeguards; and
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell personal data for monetary consideration. If any practice constitutes a “sale” or “targeted advertising” under applicable state law, we will provide required notices and opt-outs, including honoring universal opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control where required.
Your Privacy Rights
5.1 Virginia Residents (VCDPA)
Virginia residents may: confirm processing and access their data; correct inaccuracies; delete personal data; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. We respond to verified requests within forty-five (45) days (extendable once by 45 days with notice). If we decline a request, you may appeal to info@aramhub.com (subject: “Privacy Appeal”); we respond within sixty (60) days, and if denied you may contact the Virginia Attorney General.
5.2 Other States
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights, which we honor as required by the applicable law, without discrimination for exercising them.

Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including account maintenance, program and event delivery, legal, tax, and accounting compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement; thereafter we delete or de-identify it. Retention periods vary by data category.
Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No system is completely secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and regulators as required by law, including Va. Code § 18.2-186.6.
International Users
The Services are operated from the United States for U.S. audiences. If you access them from elsewhere, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where laws may differ from your jurisdiction's.
Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under thirteen (13), and users must be eighteen (18) or older to register. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under thirteen (13), we will delete it promptly, consistent with COPPA.
